A movie
overstuffed from every angle with talent. Script by Quinton Tarantino,
directed by Tony Scott, starring Christian Slater at a time he was the new Jack
Nicolson and Patricia Arquette. The villain Christopher Walken, the father
Dennis Hopper, the roommate Brad Pitt. Other characters of note; Val Kilmer, Samuel Jackson, Gary Oldman and playing a mob foot soldier James Gandolfini. Essentially it’s a road
movie. It bombed at the box office but is now a solid 91% fresh.
Certainly
one of my favorite movies of the 90’s and easily in my top twenty of all time.
